You Can Start the Roman Persecution Again - But Our King is not the President by Michael Bresciani, September 12, 2015
For true Christians not naming Christ as our King would be the equivalent of blasphemy. The world does not understand that if we would proclaim his name to our own hurt, including death that means we accept everything God has said as ultimate authority.
If Christ says marriage is only real between one man and one woman we don’t care if Sodomites proclaim that they were born that way – we know who provoked that lie and it was not the Father of mankind, but it is the father of lies. (Jn 8: 44)
But America is in a phase of high presumption and while ancient Israel was accused of asking what it was that God was making; America presumes that there is no Maker and that these pots (us) came about with no potter.
“Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, what makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands?” (Isa 45: 9)
The father of lies replaces real intelligence with stupidity by means of the vehicle of pride.
We are proud to tell our children that they evolved from beasts that climbed trees – in spite of the billions of missing links that might corroborate this pipe dream. But not to fear – we then bolster this error with the excited promise of travel throughout the wide expanses of the universe.
Why worry that we have reached speeds of about 40K per hour, even if we could get to the speed of light our world, our sun and our entire solar system would not be here when we return. It will take thousands of lifetimes to reach the distances we think we can just jump to in our shiny new rockets and spacecraft. Of course while there may be holes in our story and perhaps some holes in our heads – let’s not tell them that there are no known worm holes, time warps or quantum leaps known to anyone except the writers of fiction.
From this lofty position attained from the father of lies, we declare there is no Father God, no real founding fathers to our nation and we become, as it were, the fathers of stupidity if not the children of stupidity.
We are the generation that sees itself as the best pots there ever was and we got to be the best by the fiat known as “everything from nothing.” It is akin to the magic fairy dust of Tinker Bell. It is seamless convolution imposed on the unsuspecting by the deceiver of nations. (Rev 20: 3)
This kind of colossal stupidity takes a backseat to the pride that it takes to be this presumptuous. Yet, it is the very reason Satan is known as the king of the prideful and presumptuous. (Job 41: 34)
It is a show of mastery from the father of lies, to have those he deceives, worshiping the god of spiritual stupidity in the temple of carnal intelligence.
Rather than isolating a few of the most vulnerable, the Prince of mis-rule gathers them all together as the last days approach in a plenary session of darkened minds, he is the perfect progressive in that he calls the minorities to bury the majority by mere semantics and word wrangling - known today as political correctness.
He spearheads the age of enlightenment even as a plunges the world into entire darkness and wholesale wickedness. (1 John 5:19) He craftily omits the promise of God that every creature will have to account for the choices they have made and the life they have lived. He is careful to exclude from their knowledge that there will be no excuse entitled “we were born that way” to erase our culpability.
Yet all of this is not enough. The same Savior who labeled him as the father of lies also said he was a murderer. (Jn 8; 44)
When all his lies have rooted in one generation the only thing left to do is eliminate the light that remains and proceed to live in permanent, deep and inglorious darkness. To accomplish this he will cause the righteous to be denied, disadvantaged, dismissed and in the final days - killed. (Rev 20: 4)
Starting with the persecution, fining and jailing of cake bakers and county clerks who will not perform “homosexual weddings” it will take only a few short steps to bring it to the arrest and murder of the faithful.
But just as the Christians in the days of the Roman persecution would not deny either their King or his Divine instructions – modern Christians who have not betrayed their faith or seceded to apostate churches will do the very same.
Barack Obama may be our president but neither he, nor anyone else, will be our king. We can live with that and we can die with that. “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
