Senate Chaplain's Censored 9/11 Prayer by Rev. Austin Miles, September 12, 2014

This morning a special 9/11 ceremony was held in Statuary Hall in the Capitol featuring the awarding of Gold Medals for heroes of 9/11. Senate Chaplain Rev. Pat Conroy opened with the "invocation" in which he addressed: "Oh Creator of All the Universe." No "Our Father in Heaven."

The 'prayer' that followed was mainly a narration of what took place on September 11, 2001 when Muslims attacked the United States. Then he simply closed the prayer with a concluding sentence. Jesus was nowhere in that prayer.

I do not blame the chaplain for the omission. He was ordered by Obama to pray generically without any mention of God or Jesus. It defies all logic, which would actually be classified as stupid, to insist upon elbowing God out of our lives in America in the face of that dastardly and cowardly 9/11 attack with the notice of more Islamic attacks to come on American soil, possibly today, in celebration of 9/11 by the Muslims.

Right after 9/11, it was suddenly OK to pray and bring God back into the life of America. Churches were filled bringing a different atmosphere to our country. Then cometh Obama.

When Communist trained Obama was placed in the White House (not voted in-but placed) war was suddenly declared on churches, Christians or any expressions of the Christian faith. They (the Christians) were the real enemy.

As a result, military chaplains are forbidden to close a prayer in the name of Jesus, or even mention God or our Heavenly Father during chapel services. That is why Senate Chaplain Rev. Pat Conroy was compelled to offer not a prayer to glorify God seeking His help, but a generic prayer of nothing. Yes, much ado about nothing.

Following the awarding of the Gold Medals, with The Air Force Band and Chorus performing, focus shifted to the Senate Chambers where Senators were to give comments on the 9/11 anniversary. The Senate Chambers were virtually empty.

Two Republican Senators, Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Roy Blunt (R-Missouri) spoke on 9/11 and referred to Obama's talk last evening, stating what Obama should be doing (considering the many needs of the U.S.) rather than just saying what we are doing. No democrats were there this morning. They had no interest in the safety of our country.

Rev. Ed Berkey (Retired) sent us this note from history this morning which certainly should make Americans think.

In 1887  Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the  candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence; from dependence back into bondage."

This Obituary follows:

Born 1776, Died 2016

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 Romney: 29

Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 Romney: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million Romney: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 Romney: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low-income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

By closing the borders, Obama has knowingly let in Islamic terrorists who have actually set up training camps in America. These camps are heavily guarded and left alone to do what they may. And they plan to initiate further attacks on America, on American soil, thanks to Obama who has opened the door for them to come in and set up shop.

Instead of protecting America, which a real legitimate President would do, he lets the Islamists have full access to our country so that they can destroy us from within.
