Unborn Babies Have no Constitutional Rights: How Long Before Your Rights Are Gone? by Greg Holt, April 12, 2016
This writer thinks the above comments display a serious lack of common sense. No the U.S. Constitution does not say unborn children have rights; it also does not say that they do not!
Hillary surprisingly admitted that an unborn baby is a person, however that person has no rights under the Constitution; the unspoken part of that thought is therefore it is perfectly acceptable to kill them. Hillary has always been an ardent supporter of abortion so her attitude is no surprise at all.
Lets take Hillary’s inane and illogical thought process a step further. Unborn babies are persons – and persons are people right? “We the people”, wrote the Constitution. By this same logic, look at Article 2, section 1-3 of the U.S. Constitution: it deals with the office of the president. In these sections the reference to the president is always he – therefore a woman cannot be president right? Rest assured I have no problem with a female president (as long its not Hillary) but this does follow the convoluted logic of Hillary’s thinking.
Going back to babies having no protection under the Constitution: the writers of said Constitution had enough common sense to realize that babies did not need to be included in the precise writings of said Constitution. It is this writer’s opinion that the idea of babies having no rights and being disposable would not have gone over very well back then. To whit: last paragraph of the Constitution – done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independance of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names
I’m pretty sure God and His value system meant something to these folks…
Hillary Clinton wants it to be legal and socially acceptable for any woman to kill her unborn child. This goes beyond that, as bad as abortion is – there is more to this than meets the eye. One needs to understand how insidious this really is and what could happen in the future. What about the elderly and others that are disabled? Instead of government, i.e. the taxpayer paying for the continued treatment of these folks, why not eliminate them instead – legal euthanasia. Think this is far fetched? Think again.
How about guns, what are your thoughts on that? Hillary and Obama with others like them want to take away guns. Hillary wants to allow suing gun manufacturers for crimes committed with the weapons they made! How incredibly stupid! Should we also therefore sue the car manufacturer for the vehicle used in the death of someone in a crash caused by a drunk driver? NO.
Political Correctness? Don’t you dare wish someone a Merry Christmas, that might offend him or her. Don’t talk about Jesus, that is almost a crime and soon it likely will be if the left has their way. One cannot state they believe homosexuality to be wrong, otherwise one is a homophobe, a bigot, and a hater.
Do you see what is going on here? It is the slow erosion of American rights perpetuated by the left. We are allowed free speech – as long as that speech is in line with what the state determines is ok to say, is that really free speech? By the way – the American mainstream media are also to blame for this, you see and hear only what they want you to see and hear. News is heavily manipulated…
American rights are slowly being changed and not for the better. Our rights are being determined by the leftist agenda and not by the people – you know the ones who wrote the U.S. Constitution? Government for the people and by the people? Now it’s government for the people by the wealthy and powerful.
One cannot teach on Christianity in the schools, yet the textbooks talk about how great Islam is. Christians have been denied asylum in the U.S. – but thousands of Muslim refugees have been settled in various cities in the U.S. by the Obama administration with little to no vetting and often without the knowledge of local governments. Illegal immigrants that are gang members and other violent offenders are often released back into sanctuary cities by order of the Obama administration – resulting in more violent crimes and killing; they have rights you know…
Colleges are mainly run and taught by liberals therefore destroying our children. Many college kids have no idea of what critical thinking is. Need an example? Read this article on how one college campus was in an uproar over support for Donald Trump, it is a real eye opener. I do not support Donald Trump, but he IS allowed his opinion same as anyone else should be.
America needs to stand up for itself and place her faith in God – or there will not be any lasting and valued changes. If the left stays in power, there will be changes; they just will not be in the best interests of America and her people – and our rights will continue to be eroded, one bite at a time.
