Thoughts on FBI Warning of ISIS Plot in Memphis by Rev William Cook, December 26, 2014
An FBI Bulletin marked "(U//LES)" is "Unclassified, Law Enforcement Sensitive." In other words, for law enforcement eyes only, not for public consumption. What this means is the FBI is in a quandary. They don't want ISIS to know they are being watched by the FBI, or you to know about an ISIS attack in the making. Thought is that notifying you will tip-off ISIS, or if it is a false alarm, you will have gotten all worked up for nothing, will want to know why and where ISIS is in your neighborhood, or if the FBI fails to stop it, heads that knew will roll. The question we need to be asking isn't, "Can the FBI stop an ISIS plot in Memphis?" The question each of us ought to be asking is, "Why is ISIS in America at all?" ISIS in the US is not a fait accompli. They are here because of a failed national security policy and the willful blindness of our National Security apparatus. Al Qaeda was in the U.S. years before 9/11, but you wouldn’t have known it by the shocked incredulity on the faces of the people fleeing the Twin Towers and Pentagon. Think about it. When did you first learn that Bin Laden had set up shop in the United States? Probably on 9/11. Have you ever wondered where all of his minions went after 9/11? Probably not, though common sense ought to tell you that it takes a syndicate of people and front groups to pull off an attack on the scale of 9/11, in addition to 19 al Qaeda terrorists. So what if Bin Laden is dead? All it takes to raise up another Bin Laden is hatred toward the U.S. and Israel, and a firm commitment to the teachings of Muhammad. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) may have “masterminded” 9/11 but a Muslim terrorist mastermind is nothing special, just someone we are too self-deluded to see or take seriously. This enemy is not as smart as we are stupid. Why didn’t we know and why didn’t our leaders know? The truth is, they didn’t care to know, because we didn’t care to know, just like we and they don’t care to know now. If someone had told us al Qaeda was in the US plotting terror attacks, we would have brushed them off. Why? Because we are arrogant and “smart,” and we “have the tiger by the tail,” and all that. Fact is, we know nothing at all; and if we don’t know about something, well, it can’t be true. Get ready for more shocked incredulity. Sorry to blow the lid off the spirit of Christmas, but the jihad doesn’t take time off during Christmas, nor does it march to the beat of “Little Drummer Boy.” They hate everything about Christmas except the way that it distracts us from them. They plan to end Christmas. If you don't know by now that ISIS, al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, and al Shaba’ab are a growing presence in the USA, plotting the overthrow of our way of life, to kill or convert you and everyone you love, wipe out your church and its pastors, and utterly destroy everything that you love about America, you don't deserve to know. Figure it out yourself, or just dream on. You've had thirteen-plus years to pull your head out of the sand and know, but you’re too arrogant and busy chasing “stuff” to be bothered by a “boogeyman” that is so not evident or, if it does exist, has so far to go and is so far off in the future, that it is irrelevant. Well, it is here, and it is coming like a freight train because of your ambivalence and arrogance, and you won’t be able to declare or "name-it-claim-it" away. Just like Jesus, it is coming. Your denials are non sequitur. What’s that you say? Islamic jihad and jihadis not your thing? Well, they are about to make themselves “your thing.” Now you can always continue to live in an alternate reality until the moment that ISIS knocks on your door with an ultimatum, just like it knocked on the doors of tens of thousands of Iraqi and Syrian Christians demanding that they convert or face beheading. Your choice, but bear in mind that you'll give an account to God for the impact of your choice on the people and nation God has entrusted to your stewardship. God has a message for you should you elect not to heed His wisdom: “Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.” (Proverbs 1:24-33) Now you know who you are. Merry Christmas. It is a wish that will cost you your head when Islam dominates, but I must have lost my head, because, you know, there is so little evidence of that happening, or happening soon, that it really doesn’t matter.
