Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein Should Be Fired Immediately: Here’s Why by Greg Holt, April 6, 2018

Rod-Rosenstein.jpgWhen I first heard that Jeff Sessions was to be the Attorney General I thought that he would be a fantastic pick to be the top law enforcement leader. Sessions has been a huge disappointment and needs to go – immediately.

Jeff Sessions right off the bat recused himself from anything having to do with investigating the Trump campaign (Russian collusion) and as much as I did not like that, I do believe in this scenario, Sessions had good reason to do so.

The DOJ regulation Sessions cited Saturday — 28 CFR 45.2— says "no DOJ employee may participate in a criminal investigation or prosecution if he has a personal or political relationship with any person or organization substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution, or who would be directly affected by the outcome."

The rule goes on to define a political relationship as "a close identification with an elected official, candidate, political party or campaign organization arising from service as a principal advisor or official." A personal relationship "means a close and substantial connection of the type normally viewed as likely to induce partiality." (source)

This writer would however say that as Sessions recused himself, and knew he would do so, he never should have accepted the position of AG.

Rod Rosenstein, Deputy Attorney General, who was unfortunately appointed by President Trump, is another heavy disappointment. Rosenstein caved to political pressure and appointed Bob Mueller to be special counsel to investigate possible collusion between Donald Trump/the Trump campaign, and Russia, and this without a crime to look into.

Neither Sessions nor his right-hand man Rosenstein have done anything to reign in Mueller’s broad fishing expedition. A week after Paul Manafort’s home was raided by the FBI, Rosenstein issued a secret memo authorizing this middle of the night raid. Correct me if I’m wrong, but is not the authorization supposed to come before the action?

Mueller’s fishing expedition seems to have no bounds while being encouraged by Rosenstein and ignored by the supposed top cop Jeff Sessions. This is in the words of Joe diGenova:

"conduct by two public officials [Rosenstein and Robert Mueller] that is unethical, unprofessional and [an] embarrassment to the U.S. government." (source)

Special counsel Robert Mueller is touted by the Washington elite as being pure as the driven snow, nothing to see here, move along now. This could not be further from the truth! Perhaps these elitist, screw America first traitors don’t know that it was Mueller who was in charge of the FBI during the investigation of Uranium One back in 2009. Or perhaps it just slipped the Washington elitist politicians minds? The FBI even had an inside informant on what was all going on which included Hillary Clinton signing off on the deal that gave Russia a 20% stake in American uranium production.

Yet Rosenstein still appointed Mueller; almost every single one of Mueller’s so-called investigators are Democrats, no conflict of interest here at all right? What of the Peter Strzok/Lisa Page texts that clearly reveal an FBI/DOJ bias against President Trump? Strzok was an official who was part of Mueller’s team, as well as being a high-ranking FBI official – and was the investigator of record for the Hillary Clinton email investigation farce. It was Strzok who decided to give Hillary a pass during the investigation by not recording her so-called interview, allowed destruction of evidence, and gave immunity to Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, directly or indirectly.

Rosenstein was also guilty of signing off on one of the fraudulent FISA warrants based on the unverified Steele dossier that was manufactured out of whole cloth. The Steele dossier was in fact the basis for the original FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page and of course by proxy Donald Trump and his campaign. Former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe admitted there would have been no FISA warrant application without the fraudulent Steele dossier.

The Mueller investigation has been going on for well over a year, has cost U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars, has found zero evidence of Trump and the Trump campaign colluding with Russia in the 2016 election. Still, the investigation is ongoing while Rosenstein and Jeff Sessions allow this farce to continue without cause.

Meanwhile there is a virtual landslide of evidence concerning Democratic corruption against Donald Trump’s campaign, as well as corrupt FBI and DOJ officials and U.S. intelligence agencies plotting to remove Trump from office (the Deep State).

Where is Sessions in all this? Jeff Sessions has denied the need for appointing a special counsel to look into the Democratic crimes against Trump. Instead, Sessions decided to appoint a U.S. attorney from Utah to look into the FBI’s actions in 2016. Sessions said that a special counsel is only needed in times of “only the most ‘extraordinary circumstances” Does the FBI leadership need to be caught red-handed in an assassination attempt on Trump for Jeff Sessions to consider events as being “extraordinary?”

Yes Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein need to go – immediately.
